Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones has 26 years experience in vocational education and training (VET) research and development at state, national and international levels. He has been operating his own educational consultancy since 1998 and in recent years has focused on learning resource development, international qualification comparative analysis and organisational evaluation services.

Andrew has a comprehensive knowledge of VET policy and has prepared educational resources and research reports for a variety of stakeholders in the VET sector. Andrew has provided educational consultancy services to the following organisations:

  • Innovation and Business Skills Australia
  • Local Government Association of Tasmania

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Philosophy) from the University of Tasmania in 1988.

Renika Muthaya

Renika has extensive vocational education, training and research experience, having worked in key industry organisations including the Australian National Training Authority, Business Services Training Australia, Innovation & Business Skills Australia and the Australian Industry Group. Renika holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Social Science (Environment and Planning) from RMIT Melbourne.

Renika has broad industry experience and strong project management, research and analytical skills gained while being part of teams that directed major national VET policy and through managing large research projects at both national and state levels. Since starting purple infinity with Andrew Jones, Renika has focussed on research, analysis, learning resource development and design.

Renika’s undergraduate education was in scientific research and her recent postgraduate education was in environmental and social research. Renika has invaluable international and cross cultural experience gained through living and working in many countries, most recently England and Hong Kong.
